What would you call this drawing?

This might look simple but it was challenging actually. I was feeling like I want to procrastinate all the time, but that's the thing, if I want to be great, I have to be willing get uncomfortable and to do challenging things.
I believe that embracing the unknown, risking failure, being ok with mistakes, like these things will make me great at what I do.

Follow me on Instagram cause it is where I post most of my drawinngs :…
Some Kind Of Cells

It's finally done. After 5 days of working on it, it's finally done. I'm so proud of myself. It was challenging casue I don't usaully spend that much time on a drawing, so I needed patience, and it felt like hard work but it was fun at the same time. And actually someone on Instagram told me that he would love to promote my work, and I was so happy. By the way, when I started this I didn't know how it was going to look like, I had to take a picture after finishing each idea that came along the way, just in case I did mess up after applying the next idea on it, I can guarantee that I still have the previous version of it, so it's almost like I risked failing at it, but I was excited to see how things are going to look like, and here it is.

Anyways, what do you call this type of art?

So yeah I no longer draw anime cause I'm bored of it for some reason. Anyways, I have drawn a lot of different drawings with a blue pen, and you might wanna stick around to see more, and this was the first drawing I decided to draw when I started drawing with pen after I quit anime.

And You love this, share it with people you love cause why not.

I want to be able to draw whatever I can imagine, and feel, whatever that comes to my mind, that's the dream.
When I draw, a lot of times I find it hard to enjoy it, and that makes me feel sometimes like maybe this isn't what I want.

Now an artist told me once that it might be hard and frustrating sometimes but there's growth in pushing through it, and my sister told me once that there's growth in working on something I don't like, and it almost the same thing that artist said.

I started to think that working on my passion doesn't mean that I'll always enjoy drawing, and not having fun sometimes doesn't mean that this isn't my passion, or maybe it means something different for each one of us.

The thing is, everyone is happy and satisfied when he/she get what they want, or when things happen as planned.
The same thing with drawing, I'm happy when the result of a drawing looks exactly or close to how I want it to be, or good enough to me.
But it sucks when it doesn't look like it.

So I think that the key is to push through it, cause the more I draw, the more I'll be able to get the results I want often.
And I think the quote that says "Work on your passion and you'll never work again" happens when I get to that level that satisfies me.

So I think that being passionate about something means that I love what I do but also means that I'm willing to keep doing it when it gets tough.

If you read this, please tell me what you think?

Hello there and welcome to dA!
Here are two articles I find really handy for newcomers:
A Guide To Connecting And Sharing On DAWhat's this all about?
DeviantArt is a HUGE website and it's easy to feel invisible, especially if you're new. The aim of this guide is to help you start connecting with other artists and their work as well as sharing your own art and encouraging feedback and interaction. It would be impossible to cover absolutely everything in one journal, so consider it a starting point and get ready to go exploring! I've included a few helpful links under each section, so you can use these as springboards to help you bounce around and find out more.
